Need some retail therapy - or a bite to eat? You won't go far wrong at Altrincham Market!

In recent times, the Market Hall in Altrincham has become the talk of the town – and for good reason. This bustling hub of food, drink, and shopping has taken the community by storm, and it seems like everyone wants to get in on the action!

Dating back to around 1290, the market has always been a central part of the town – though its popularity declined in the 80’s and 90’s.

Brought back to life, with a new vision by husband and wife team – Nick and Jenny Johnson – in the early 2010’s, the revitalised market has since become the heart of the re-invention of Altrincham, making it the popular modern market town it is today.

With over 50 traders offering a wide range of products and services, the Market Hall has something for everyone. From freshly baked bread to artisanal cheeses, from handcrafted jewellery to vintage clothing, you can find it all here. And the best part? You get to support local businesses while indulging in some retail therapy.

But it’s not just the variety of offerings that make the Market Hall a hit. It’s the atmosphere.

The space is bright, airy, and welcoming, with friendly traders eager to share their stories and products with visitors. It’s a place where you can relax, meet friends, and enjoy a delicious meal or drink in a vibrant setting.
