A fun day for all the family – with the theme this year: Out of this World!
Teams race from the start line at Chester Meadows, down the River Dee, under the suspension bridge, past the bandstand and finish just above the weir.
Awards are handed out for a variety of categories, and there’s an event village on the meadows with entertainment, food, drinks and a great atmosphere all day.
Tickets are now available for the incredible Lymm Charity Beer & Gin Festival! This year, there’s a new venue – and a whole new atmosphere, with over 50 real ales and cider – plus speciality gins.

Festival favourites Dr Jazz and the Cheshire Cats Big Band return for what’s sure to be a fantastic night of big band jazz.
This 20-piece band brings the golden age of swing to life with big band bangers from back in the day including jazz classics made famous by the likes of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, vocal hits from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, with a few Latin jazz surprises along the way.
Featuring two vocalists, the band has a wide repertoire, with a particular reputation for stylish performances of classic swing. As a result, the band is regularly booked for events where people will enjoy dancing to great jazz tunes.
