Run for Warrington Food Bank on Sunday 20th September

Fancy taking part in the Warrington Running Festival 2026 on Sunday 20th September for FREE?

Warrington Food Bank is offering free 10k and Half Marathon charity places to runners. All they ask is that you aim to raise £150 to help local people in crisis access emergency food and support. 💚

Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned runner, this is your chance to make every mile matter!

Lymm Festival 2026 Headline Event – Tuesday 23rd June

Note to presenters:  Please do not say “Arse” on air…

Come and spend a fascinating evening in the company of one of TV’s true legends, comedian and award-winning actor and star Ricky Tomlinson at Statham Lodge Lymm.

In an up close and personal interview, Ricky will take you on his life’s journey from his very humble upbringing, through events in his early life, and on to his controversial political career.  Ricky will also take some questions from the audience.  A guaranteed evening of tall tales, stories, music, songs and plenty of laughter.

• Tickets are £25 plus £1 booking fee and are likely to sell out quickly

All are welcome to the Summer Fun Day & Dog Show at Dakota Park, Chapelford on Sunday 14th June, from 12 to 4pm.

Enjoy rides, food, entertainment, and plenty for all ages — plus a fun dog show!

• £1 entry fee per dog
• £1 fairground rides
• All proceeds to charity

Volunteer Marshals Urgently Needed

The event is due to take place on Saturday 11th July – but can only happen if 60 volunteers come forward.  Can you give some of your time to ensure this event takes place?

Please express your interest ASAP as health and safety training needs to take place in advance of the event.
