Jess Lees: Live in the studio for Lymm Fest 2023

Lymm Festival is back for 2023 and starts this evening with the iconic FoodFest from 6pm

But, just ahead of the opening of an exciting timetable of events over the next couple of weeks, it was our great pleasure to welcome local singer-songwriter, Jess Lees to our morning studio for a chat and live performance!

Jess will be no stranger to many; a star in the making who has been delighting audiences at the Brewery Tap’s regular Live Mic nights.

For a long time, Jess has also toured with Cheshire-based rock band The Zangwills, who’ve enjoyed a series of sold-out performances across the country.

One of the highlights of the festival will be appearance of the incredible Michigan a four-piece party band who’ll be taking to the stage at Lymm Tennis Club on Saturday 24th June. Note:  Event is now SOLD OUT.

Jess will be supporting the band on the night with her own set of 10 (or so) songs to compliment the evening.

More than 200 tickets have already been sold for the event, with limited numbers still available. Admission is £12, tickets from the Lymm Festival website.

To celebrate the opening of the festival, Jess paid a visit to the MIX 56 studios and treated us to two songs in a live session!
