GOOD MORNING CHESHIRE
Halton’s thriving business community took centre stage on Friday evening as the prestigious Halton Business Awards returned in spectacular style at the DBCL Stadium.
The glittering black-tie event brought together the very best of Widnes and Runcorn’s business talent, celebrating innovation, resilience and success across the borough.
With a record-breaking 58 companies shortlisted across 18 categories, the 16th annual awards highlighted the strength and ambition driving Halton’s economy forward.
Hosted by BBC presenter Roger Johnson, the evening combined elegance with excitement, as businesses, apprentices and entrepreneurs gathered for a night that recognised not only commercial success, but also the people and passion behind it.
Among those in attendance were Smithy and Rob from MIX56, who spoke with key figures including Andrew Donaldson, Chief Executive of Halton Borough Council, and Rachael Owen, Chief Executive of Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise.
Both praised the outstanding calibre of this year’s finalists and the continued growth of Halton as a hub for enterprise and opportunity.
From emerging entrepreneurs to established industry leaders, the awards showcased a community that is not only surviving, but thriving — fuelled by collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to excellence.
The Halton Business Awards once again proved that this borough is brimming with talent, ambition and success stories waiting to be told.
Halton truly is a place to do business — and its future has never looked brighter.
