Jack’s Beanstalk Grows Gigantic – And So Do the Laughs at Lymm Panto!

Yes folks – it’s that time of year again when Lymm Rugby Club swaps scrums for sequins and the world-famous panto takes centre stage!

This December, the ever-talented Simon Plumb has once again worked his magic and created a slightly cheeky, definitely unforgettable adaptation – Jack and his GIANT Beanstalk.

As always, expect outrageous laughs, songs you’ll know and love (whether you admit it or not) and the usual on-stage mischief from the beloved cast.

Tickets are now on sale but will sell out fast

Returning to cause mayhem are local stage stars including Brian Hope, Lizzie Roberts and Sara Worton – while the big news this year is that Adam Halford makes his panto debut in the lead role.

Will he survive the boos, the cheers – and his naked ambition? 🤩

Only one way to find out!

For those who like to sit close to the action – very close – ponchos will be available.  (You’ve been warned!)

This infamous, adults-only panto guarantees more giggles than Lymm’s got rugby balls – with humour that’s about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the funny bone.

Now, a word to the wise: you normally can’t get tickets to this yuletide spectacular for love nor money – with dates selling faster than the  mince pies at Sextons.

But hold onto your Santa hats – this year there’s an extra ninth performance added on Friday 12th December.  At the time of writing, tickets are still available… though likely not for long.

So whether you’re plotting a festive night out with friends – or looking for the ultimate corporate Christmas party with a twist, block bookings are very welcome.

And if you want a flavour of what’s to come, Simon Plumb joined Ian on the MIX56 Morning Show this week to chat all things panto – and even he struggled to keep a straight face!

Book them. Bag them. And prepare for a Christmas cracker in true Lymm style!
