Every Thursday we catch up with Gareth Dunning, Deputy Editor of the Warrington and Knutsford Guardian.

In the news this week.  Plans are in progress to build homes on the former Mr Smiths site in Warrington.

We talk about a spate of deliberate fires being started in the town, specifically in the Latchford area.  During the week, there was also a huge building fire on Monday at a disused property in the town centre which has resulted in the arrest of a 14-year-old boy.

We have a preview of the forthcoming Warrington Guardian Inspiration Awards.

And we talk about the speed cameras that caught the most speeding drivers on Warrington’s roads in the last year.  Want to know which ones?  You can listen right here – or check out the Warrington Guardian!

Catch the Guardian News Roundup on Drivetime each Thursday and a repeat on Friday Breakfast.
