GOOD MORNING CHESHIRE
There was a real buzz on the MIX56 Breakfast Show this morning as we welcomed a very special guest – the wonderfully talented Amy Rhiannon Worth.
A familiar and much-loved voice to our listeners, Amy joined us ahead of her exciting new mini-tour of The Jazz Jive Jukebox, which makes its debut this Thursday at Zeffirellis in Ambleside.
It’s a show that’s been a long time in the making – and judging by the energy and passion Amy brought to the studio, it’s set to be something truly special.
Many will remember Amy’s heartfelt and beautifully crafted programme for MIX56 celebrating Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee back in 2022. But her talents stretch far beyond the airwaves.
With an impressive career spanning stage and screen, Amy has graced theatres across the UK – including London’s West End, where she starred as Mrs Wilkinson in Billy Elliot. Television audiences will also recognise her from popular series including Emmerdale, Heartbeat and Doctors.
Alongside her acting success, Amy has built a strong reputation in the music world, sharing the stage with renowned performers such as Michael Ball and Elio Pace, and previously performing as part of the celebrated D-Day Darlings.

Now, she steps firmly into the spotlight with a show of her own. The Jazz Jive Jukebox promises to be a vibrant, high-octane celebration of music through the decades – blending early jazz and rhythm and blues with classic popular hits, and uncovering the fascinating links between them.
Backed by a superb four-piece band of top-class musicians, Amy delivers a performance packed with sizzling vocals, vintage glamour and irresistible energy.
With an eclectic setlist featuring artists from Louis Jordan and Ray Charles to Norah Jones, Al Jarreau and even Christina Aguilera, audiences can expect a night of toe-tapping rhythms, soulful sounds and plenty of sparkle.
It’s a moment many of Amy’s growing fanbase have been waiting for – a chance to see her incredible versatility and powerhouse voice take centre stage in a show that’s entirely her own.
Take a listen again to Amy’s chat on the Breakfast Show and get a taste of what’s to come – this is one musical journey you won’t want to miss!
