There’s some exciting career opportunities available at Manchester Airport right now!

At the Wythenshawe Forum yesterday, more than 20 employees came together for the Manchester Airport jobs fair.

Over 500 roles were on offer from around 20 employers – including 200 jobs with Manchester Airports Group alone.

With roles available in Customer Services, Security, Car Parks and Hospitality – there was something for everyone, including part-time jobs.

Smithy went along and caught up with Rebecca Smith who works within recruitment at the Airport.

Rebecca said: “The airport is now getting busier, which means more jobs – and there’s a wide range of roles including flexible and on-the-job training”

Although the jobs fair has now passed, there’s still many opportunities available and you can check the latest vacancies at Manchester Airport.

Take off with Jet 2!

Sharon from Jet 2 chats to Smithy

One of the major employers at the Airport is the airline Jet 2.

Smithy met Sharon, one of the Duty Managers at Jet 2 who said:  “Everything we do at Jet 2 is in-house.  So from check-in to airside, there’s a lot of roles available.  It’s all about making sure the customer is treated as a VIP.”

With Jet 2 also flying from Liverpool from next March, there’s a number of jobs available there too.

You can check out the latest jobs at Jet 2 Careers.
