This year’s production, Jack and His Giant Beanstalk, proved to be one of the most popular ever — with every performance selling out and even an extra show added to meet demand.
Club Chairman David Simpson praised the team effort behind the scenes, saying:
“In a year when the club, a registered charity, has had to fund the first team’s long trips to Devon and Cornwall, the extra effort from our volunteers has been extraordinary. Not only that, but our audiences were incredibly generous — donating record amounts to our charity raffles each night. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved!”
Producer Simon Plumb also had high praise for the cast and crew, describing the 2025 show as one of the best yet.
“We had lots of new faces in the cast who performed superbly,” he said. “The laughter levels were sky-high — and Adam Halford, who played Jack, made a fantastic leading man.”

Now in its 39th year, the Lymm Rugby Club Panto has truly earned its “world-famous” tag, with audiences travelling from across the UK to join in the fun.
“It’s wonderful that our little village show has such a big following,” Simon added. “Next year marks our 40th anniversary, so we’re already planning something very special — it’s one not to miss!”
With record fundraising, standing ovations, and community spirit in abundance, Lymm’s legendary panto has once again brought festive joy while supporting its much-loved club!
