It’s that time of year. The festive season is almost upon us. Oh yes it is!

Final rehearsals are underway at Parr Hall for one giant of a panto Jack and the Beanstalk.

Once again, Parr Hall have teamed up with Tony Peers and his team – who’ve been delighting audiences of all ages for decades with a tried and tested format of fun, laughter and happily ever after!

The Cast of Jack and the Beanstalk

Milkshake! presenter Amy Thompson returns to Parr Hall as Jill Crumble after starring in the previous production, Dick Whittington, alongside a host of other much-loved performers:

  • Jack Trott (Lucy Summers)
  • Fairy Sweet Pea (Sara Nelson)
  • Dame Trott (Mark Newell)
  • King Crumble (Kyle White)
  • Fleshcreep (Frank Simms)
  • Silly Billy (Daniel Dean)

Colourful costumes, comedy, catchy songs and calamities are the essential ingredients of a good panto – and Jack and the Beanstalk is guaranteed to surprise and delight when the production takes to the stage at Parr Hall in January.

You are invited to find out what happens when Jack gets in big trouble with his mother for selling their hapless cow for a handful of beans!

Smithy went along to the glitzy press opening event and caught up with some of the cast.  You can listen again right here.

Jack and the Beanstalk is at Parr Hall Warrington from 5th to 14th January.  Tickets are now available at the Parr Hall Website.
