Ahead of “Words on Tap” we were delighted to welcome Rick Varden – The Urban Poet – to our morning studio for a chat and a live poetry reading!
Words on Tap is an open-mic-night style event where you can take the stage to share your poetry, stories and jokes.
It’s a lighthearted event open to all age groups, though slots are already almost filled.
Rick tells us that some slots remain in the second half. If you are interested in taking part, send an email to rick.varden@hotmail.co.uk – or simply just turn up and enjoy the evening!
Rick is well-known for his poetry in the north west area and has already published three books – his latest, 100 More Reasons for Rhyme – is now available on Amazon or you can contact Rick directly for a signed copy!
Words on Tap takes place at The Brewery Tap (Lymm) Tuesday 27th June from 8PM. The event is FREE with no tickets required.
