Congratulations to Michael Berry from Orford who’s just taken his first solo flight

Michael Berry, a teenager from Orford in Warrington, recently achieved a significant milestone by completing his first solo flight at Barton Aerodrome.

Just a week after turning 17, Michael took to the skies alone in a Cessna 150 fixed-wing aircraft, marking an important step in his journey as a pilot.

This accomplishment highlights his dedication and passion for aviation at a young age.

The solo flight at Barton is a proud moment not only for Michael but also for his local community in Orford, as he embarks on what could be a promising career in flying.
