MIX56 Partners with the UK’s largest Gas Distribution Network

It’s always exciting when big things are happening at MIX56 – and this week we’re thrilled to announce a major new partnership between Cadent and Cheshire’s MIX56!

On Thursday, Smithy and Ian welcomed Paula Steer, Director of Cadent’s North West Network, into the studio to chat about her role, the company’s work across our region, and the fantastic community initiatives Cadent supports.

Paula explained how Cadent keeps the gas flowing safely to homes and businesses across the North West – and how her team also plays a vital role in local communities.

From leading the Centres for Warmth initiative, which helps households stay safe, warm and connected – to running the national gas emergency number (0800 111 999) – available 24/7 for anyone in the UK who smells gas or suspects a leak – Cadent’s work goes far beyond the pipes underground.
