Elio Pace Brings New Life to Cold Spring Harbor with Special Live Album

Music fans everywhere are buzzing with excitement as we count down to 1st September, when a very special new album will finally be released.

The much-anticipated record is a live version of Cold Spring Harbor – Billy Joel’s first studio album from 1971 which has been superbly recreated by the brilliant Elio Pace – a performer who has become known across Europe as the closest thing to Billy himself, thanks to his widely acclaimed and award-winning show The Billy Joel Songbook.

What makes this release truly unique however, is the presence of two very familiar names: Rhys Clark on drums and Don Evans on guitar.

Both Rhys and Don were original members of Billy Joel’s band back in 1971 and played on the original Cold Spring Harbor album.

To have them reunited on this project – over fifty years on – makes it not just an album, but a historic musical celebration.

Elio Pace has long been praised for his passion, authenticity and heartfelt connection to Billy Joel’s music – and this new live recording looks set to capture all of that energy while giving long-time fans something they never thought they’d hear: a new opportunity to experience Cold Spring Harbor as though it were being played for the very first time.
