GOOD MORNING CHESHIRE

Lymm is gearing up for one of its most anticipated events of the summer, as the Lymm Charity Beer and Gin Festival returns this weekend—bigger and better than ever!

Speaking on air this morning, Rob Watson from Lymm & District Round Table shared details of the much-loved festival, which raises thousands of pounds each year for local charities and good causes.

This year marks an exciting new chapter, with the event moving to a spacious marquee at Lymm Rugby Club, promising even more room for visitors to soak up the atmosphere.

Festival-goers can look forward to an impressive selection of drinks, including more than 40 real ales and craft beers, alongside over 40 artisan gins—offering something to suit every taste.

And it’s not just about the drinks; live music will keep the party going all weekend, with performances from Northern Echoes and a special international appearance from Austria’s Uptown Monotones.

With entry priced at just £10 for the entire weekend and drink tokens available for £2.50, it’s an affordable and enjoyable way to support the local community. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or on the door at Lymm Rugby Club.

Rob, who has been involved with the festival for many years, revealed a surprising twist—he doesn’t actually drink.

Thankfully, he says, the rest of the team are more than qualified to ensure the drinks offering remains top-notch!

The Lymm Charity Beer and Gin Festival promises great drinks, fantastic music, and a brilliant community spirit—all in support of worthy local causes.
