It was a star-studded Friday breakfast on MIX56 as Damian welcomed none other than comedian, writer and actor Craig Cash to the studio — a voice and face we all know and love from The Royle Family, Early Doors, and The Mrs Merton Show.

Joining Damian and Craig was our very own Legal Eagle, John Roberts “JR” from Harvey Roberts Solicitors in Stockport — who, as it turns out, shared a few classrooms (and a few laughs) with Craig back in their school days!

The old friends swapped stories, revisited their teenage antics, and looked back on Craig’s incredible career — one that actually began behind the radio mic.

Craig revealed his first foray into broadcasting came through a pirate radio station — a short-lived venture that found itself on the wrong side of the Department of Trade and Industry when he happened to be on air!
