The new Guardian is out and Smithy Caught up with Gareth Dunning, Deputy Editor to find out what is in this weeks paper

First up, a picture of Cllr Ian Marks dominates the Lymm, Grappenhall and Thelwall local life page – as local councillors and residents are determined to fight to uphold the inspectors’ initial view and retain the green belt land proposed for the Six 56 Warrington development.

The consultation continues as Cllr Marks is calling for the land to be protected.

It is festival season – and in the coming weeks there is a wonderful array of local events and festivals for you to attend.  From the RHS flower Show to Stockton Heath Festival.  Find out more on page 40.
