The Warrington Bombings 31 years on, puppy joy for one happy family in Holmes Chappel and a new coffee shop opens in Grappenhall

Time for our weekly catch up with Gareth Dunning, Deputy Editor of Warrington Guardian.

Dominating the news this week:  The Warrington Bombings, 31 years on.

Speaking at the Peace Centre, Colin and Wendy Parry said ‘We want Tim and Johnathan’s name to be synonymous with peace building’.  You can read all about it in this weeks Guardian.

Crufts champion Ace and his 13 cute pups bring pride and joy for a family in Holmes Chappel.

And in Grappenhall, a much-needed coffee shop has opened it’s doors.

Husband and wife team Georgie and Charlie Moore have opened the Bonbon Cafe on Knutsford Road, between Tesco Express and the Co-op.

The dog-friendly venue offers a range of coffees and speciality teas along with a tempting range of award-winning cakes – and is well worth checking out!

Read all about it in this week’s Warrington Guardian!
