SOUL the incredible new single from Nashville duo Dirt Trax featuring local artist Rob Wheeler is out this Friday

Always a pleasure to welcome British Country sensation Rob Wheeler to our morning studio – and just ahead of the release of his brand new album Leave Tomorrow on 5th June – this morning we got an exclusive first play of a surprise bonus single SOUL which is being released this Friday.

SOUL has a totally different vibe to Rob’s previous release Something About Your Eyes which we loved so much at MIX56.

It’s a power house blend of Outlaw Country & Rock. A style which fuses Country with Rock, Soul, Blues and Electronica – and takes Rob out of the comfort zone and in a new direction, reaching a new audience.

It was great to hear the story behind the track – and how the idea came about as he spent Thanksgiving in Nashville with writing partner, Pavel Dovgalyuk. You can listen again right here.

To coincide with the release of his brand new album on June 5th 2025, Rob will embark on a small UK tour with support from special guest Hughzy.
