Get ready to ride the ZEBRA

The first set of all-electric buses in Warrington are now in service!

Service routes at the moment are 16, 20, 21, 11 and 14 – but more routes will be introduced over the coming weeks.

This is all possible after Warrington Borough Council ordered 105 new electric buses from Volvo – one of the biggest orders placed by any town or city to date.

It’s a Thursday and time for our weekly catch-up with Gareth Dunning, Deputy Editor of the Warrington & Knutsford Guardian.

Don’t forget you can tune in each Thursday on our Drivetime show  (4 – 6pm) to hear the broadcast live – or you can listen again on this page.  Just click the player button below.
