Grand Opening: Dog & Partridge Woolston

Following an impressive makeover The Dog and Partridge is welcoming customers once again!

Paul Smith who presents the MIX56 breakfast show was there to cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony last night (Thursday 21st March) and met some of the fantastic team.

Landlady Helen (formally of the Pickering Arms Thelwall) told us that a considerable investment has been made by owners Greene King with improvements made both inside and out and it’s her aim to make it a place where everyone want’s to come to.

The pub will operate under the breweries “Hive” brand which aims to bring back the true essence of a community pub, offering an innovative range of drinks, a food menu with quality pub classics, year-round outdoor spaces, and regular entertainment from live sport to quizzes, music and events.

Helen was delighted to announce that the official MIX56 quiz will be held at the venue, every Tuesday night from 2nd April!
