The secrets of a happy and healthy Christmas are in nature and not on the high street

In this edition of Herbs with Barbara we get into the festive spirit – with a more holistic and feel-good approach to the festive season.

Nature provides abundance when it comes to your natural wellbeing – and with all the stress and strain that commercialism brings, it’s good to take time out and explore as we approach winter solstice.

We are currently in a period of time called Yuletide – which has more meaning than a chocolate log!  Listen to the latest edition of Herbs with Barbara to find out more!

Also in this edition we talk about Cinnamon – and how wonderful it is to use, especially at this time of the year when we tend to overindulge!

We also sample some really delicious home made oat cookies dipped in vegan chocolate.  Healthy and nutritious – with no added sugar!

Turns out, Barbara is really quite a star in the kitchen!

A Christmas gift with a difference

Looking for an inspirational Christmas gift that will last all year?  Why not consider gifting a membership of the Herb Society?

Don’t be fooled in thinking that the society is all about the love of those out-of-date jars of Rosemary and Thyme in your store cupboard – it’s all about reconnecting with nature and a new discovery and appreciation for a healthier, natural lifestyle.

Membership starts at just £40 a year and includes regular newsletters, access to member events and so much more.

You can buy online at The Herb Society.

Podcast coming soon!

Herbs with Barbara is a much loved feature which we broadcast on the first Thursday of each month.  In the new year, we’ll be offering a companion podcast where we’ll explore further and will invite inspirational guests to help guide us through the secret life of plants!
