Cheshire Police & Crime Commissioner Dan Price has announced an additional £50K boost to the SWAP Fund

Great news for community-led projects in Cheshire.  Dan Price has announced an additional injection of £50K to the SWAP fund, meaning that the total fund is the largest ever at £200,000.

The money comes from the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) to fund community projects across the county through his SWAP Fund.

The fund aims to tackle crime at its root cause, turning criminal money into positive action.

Community groups can apply for ‘Express Grants’ up to £1,000 or alternatively apply for a ‘Main Grant’ of up to £5,000, funding projects that will make a real difference in their communities.

You can find out more and apply today at the official website.

Dan was Smithy’s special guest on the Breakfast Show on Tuesday.  You can listen again right here.
