Singing to make you smile

It’s been five years since Helen Elliot formed The Alley Cats Escape Choir.

Helen’s always had a passion for singing and over the years has sang with Casella Choir in Lancaster and Lymm Big Sing.

In December 2021, Helen also became a Singing for the Brain leader after completing the Alzheimer’s Society dedicated training. 

She’s now Musical Director of the 50 plus strong Alley Cats Escape Choir who were our special guests on Good Morning Cheshire with Smithy this morning.

It was a tight fit in our compact radio studio, but wonderful to hear a couple of renditions from the choir!

Get Involved

The choir meet Wednesday mornings during term time at Lymm Village Hall between 10.45 and 12.00 midday.

Along with a good sing-song, there’s always a social catch up after with a brew and a biscuit!
