A tribute to the greatest generation

As part of our celebrations and commemorations of VE Day 1945, MIX56 together with Lymm Parish Council are proud to present VE DAY 80:  Sentimental Journey.

Join Paul Smith, Rachel Aitken and Ian James on this special programme as they visit local care homes and chat to residents about their memories of the war years and VE Day.

With vintage music, public information messages, contributions from Lymm Heritage Centre, Lymm History Society and 103 year old Gladys Taylor, it is a programme which is both reflective and uplifting.
