Spain Without the Plane – a New Book by Ian James

Ian James will be one of Penny Dee’s special guests this Friday at midday

Ian James has been part of the UK’s radio landscape for many years.  Although he now presents the morning show on MIX56, his long broadcasting career has seen him present at a number of radio stations across the country – including Marcher Sound / MFM, Touch Radio, Magic Radio and BBC Radio Leeds.

But in the 1980’s Ian worked in the travel industry and became a Caribbean specialist, eventually escorting travel agents on fam trips and writing brochure copy for a luxury tour operator.

Ian’s experience of working in travel has provided a great foundation for his first book Spain Without the Plane which is released on Amazon this Friday.

It’s a easy to read travel guide with helpful information and amusing diversions along the way.  

Many people don’t like flying – but this needn’t be a barrier to having a holiday in southern Spain or on one of the Balearic Islands.

Spain Without the Plane will hopefully inspire people to explore alternative travel options – and ones which are more eco-friendly!
