Save the date: Lymm Fireworks on Saturday 4th November

The Lymm & District Round Table Charity Fireworks night takes place at Cherry Tree Primary School on Saturday 4th November

A family-fun night of entertainment is guaranteed – with funfair rides, game stalls and face painting – along with food and drink – and Cheshire’s MIX56 will be there to keep you entertained with music!

It was a pleasure to welcome Richard from Lymm Round Table and Laura Cardwell from Lymm Truckwash – the event main sponsor – to our morning studio.

Over the course of the year, Lymm & District Round table run several high-profile events including Duck Race and Lymm Beerfest which help raise a huge amount of money to support local charities and causes.

These events wouldn’t be possible without the financial help and support of their sponsors and volunteers.

Lymm Truckwash are the main sponsor of this years Fireworks night.  It was lovely to meet Laura and to find out more about Lymm Truckwash and their commitment to the local community.

Lymm Truckwash is a long-established family business – and the oldest and largest Truckwash facility in Europe.

In recent times, they have expanded at a new purpose-built site near Lymm Fire Station and now wash over 60,000 vehicles each year.

Being such a busy facility, Laura is aware that at times, the sheer volume of customers means that there are sometimes delays for other motorists. 

Laura was keen to offer her apologies for this – but it is something the company are actively trying to address.

It is hoped that in the near future, planning permission to extend the site further will be granted – allowing them to increase capacity and provide even more employment opportunities.
