Let’s Talk About Speed

It’s road safety week 2023 – the UK’s biggest annual road safety campaign organised by Brake the road safety charity.  The theme for this year is Let’s Talk About Speed.

Five people die on roads every day – so why do we think it’s OK to speed?

Throughout the week, we’ll be covering Road Safety Week on MIX56 – with advice on winter service checks and insurance – along with a Live Broadcast with special guests at McDonalds Lymm Services on Tuesday 21st November.

Anton Sullivan – Cheshire Police

Anton is Inspector of Crime and Road Safety at Cheshire Police and a regular guest on Cheshire’s MIX56.

He will be known to many from his appearances on Channel 5’s The Motorway Cops.

Standard of driving is still very much an issue.  Always be aware of other drivers.

Anton also gave us a timely reminder of the Fatal 5 Offences.  You can listen again here.
