Over £22,000 Raised For Local Poppy Appeal

Residents of Lymm & High Legh raise £22,600 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

Always a pleasure to welcome Linda Monk to our studio – especially as she brought us the incredible news that the recent Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal raised so much money locally this year.  The figure currently stands at £22,600 – but this could well increase as more donations are counted.

This incredible amount of money helps ex-service personnel far and wide and the Royal British Legion couldn’t provide the support services they do without this valuable contribution.

Linda also is associate with Lymm Rotary which raises funds throughout the year to support local good causes.  The Santa float which has covered over 40 miles locally over the last two weeks has been accepting donations – and we’ll have an update for you in due course!
