The Morning Show: 24th March 2026
The historic Parr Hall will be transformed into a courtroom this Thursday and Friday as audiences step into the heart of a gripping crime drama – and become part of the story themselves.
The critically acclaimed Murder Trial Tonight: Death of a Landlord is touring the UK to rave reviews and packed houses, with Friday night’s Warrington performance already sold out.
Staged by Tigerslane Studios, known for their thrilling true-crime productions, this immersive show invites the audience to take on the ultimate responsibility – deciding the fate of the accused.
The story begins with the shocking murder of Victor Sloane, a wealthy and ruthless landlord found dead in his office.
The only witness? His young child.
Police pin the crime on Tre Bennet, one of Sloane’s tenants – a quiet man struggling with mental health challenges, debt and eviction threats. But as the trial unfolds, nothing is quite as it seems. Is Bennet truly guilty, or is there another side to the story?
At Parr Hall, the audience takes their seats not just as spectators but as jurors.
You’ll hear the evidence from both prosecution and defence before retreating to deliberate – and deliver your own verdict.
Guilty or not guilty? The power lies with you. Once the decision is made, the real-life outcome behind the drama is revealed on the big screen, often leaving audiences gasping.
Ahead of the Warrington shows, Ian caught up with one of the key cast members, the wonderful Anna-Maria Everett — well known to fans of stage, television and film.
Over a stellar 25-year career, Anna-Maria’s credits include Tomb Raider, Nine and The Beautiful Game on film, as well as TV favourites The Durrells, Call the Midwife and EastEnders.
On stage, she has appeared in Love Me Dorothy and Prisoner Cell Block H: The Musical alongside the unforgettable Lily Savage.
But despite her glittering résumé, Anna-Maria remains warm and down-to-earth — completely in her element performing live and connecting with audiences.
She’s clearly in her happy place… though, given the show’s dark storyline, one can’t help but wonder — could she possibly be the one who killed the landlord?

Murder Trial Tonight: Death of a Landlord is at Warrington’s Parr Hall, Thursday and Friday, March 26–27.
Limited tickets remain for Thursday’s show — and if you miss your chance to deliberate this week, you might just find yourself guilty of missing one of the most talked-about live events of the season.
