It’s Rob McGowan here!  

I joined Mix56 in July 2024 and present the early breakfast show, Early Morning Cheshire.

Having always loved radio, I joined my student radio station Fuse FM whilst at university in Manchester.  

I got involved with Lymm Radio back in the summer of 2022 whilst home from university for the summer and I have been a fan of the station since so when I was asked to join the rebranded Mix 56 to present the early breakfast show, I was delighted.  

Having grown up in Birchwood, it is great to see Mix 56 reviving local radio.

When I am not behind the mic you will probably find me at a Blossoms gig as I have seen them over 40 times.
