Lee Deavall aka DJ Deavall – Mixape Show

I’m Lee Deavall, also known as DJ Deavall, and I’ve been a part of the dance music scene since 1990. My journey has included producing and remixing on Virgin Records / Innocent Records for artists like Atomic Kitten, Jamelia, and Big Arm (Paul Ryder from The Happy Mondays), as well as creating trance remixes for Nigel Kennedy’s Melody in the Wind.

As a DJ, I’ve performed at some of the biggest clubs, including the legendary dance nights at Mr. Smith’s in the ’90s, where I played alongside the iconic DJ Derek Kaye. I’ve also shared the stage with legends such as Carl Cox, Boy George, Jeremy Healy, Rat Pack, and Manchester Vibes In The Area (MVITA). More recently, I’ve been honoured to support WINACHI on their nights.

In addition to my weekly mixtape show at 9pm on Cheshire’s MIX56, I also host DrumBeaut, my very own dance music night, where I blend melodic house, tech house, progressive house, Afro house, and drum and bass. Beyond DJing, I produce my own music and mashups to bring a unique vibe to every set. Whether in the club or on air, my goal is to take listeners on a journey through the latest sounds that keep dance music alive.
