Lymm Duck Race 2025

Date & Time:

• Easter Monday, 21 April 2025

• Race starts at 12:30pm (arrive from midday for best experience).

Location:

• Lower Dam, Lymm village centre

• Ducks race down The Dingle into the village.

How It Works:

• Sponsor a numbered plastic duck (£2 per duck).

• Ducks are released into the water; first to finish wins cash prizes

• Prizes: £150 for 1st, £75 for 2nd, £50 for 3rd.

Tickets & Entry:

• Buy tickets online or in the village centre on the morning of the race.

• Business Duck Sponsorships available from £50.

Event Highlights

• Family-friendly entertainment, rides, and games in the village centre and Henry Street car park.

• Food stalls offering pies, cakes, burritos, bratwurst, brownies, ice cream, coffee, and more.

• Local pubs and restaurants open for brunch and lunch.

• Stalls selling crafts, sweets, toys, and more.

Road Closures & Parking

• Several main roads in Lymm village centre closed 7:30am–5:00pm on 21 April.

• Parking is limited—walking into the village is recommended.

Additional Info

• The event is organized by Lymm & District Round Table and raises funds for local good causes.

• Large crowds expected; plan ahead for parking and food.

• MIX56 will be providing background music at the event and will have live links on air from the village.
