MIX 56 CHESHIRE'S BEST MUSIC MIX
Local musician Sarge Pete Frampton brought his trademark warmth and storytelling charm to MIX56 this week – joining Jim O’Connor on That Monday Night Show for a live session and conversation that left listeners smiling and inspired.
With guitar in hand and plenty of tales to tell, Sarge shared snippets of his journey in music, along with the stories behind his songs that so often celebrate life, place and community.
The session couldn’t have come at a better time, as Sarge is gearing up for a special performance at Warrington Masonic Hall on Friday 7th November.
He’ll be supporting none other than Nashville sensations Lost Hollow – a duo who are already making waves across the country and roots scenes with their unique blend of heartfelt Americana.
What makes this occasion even more exciting is the connection between the two acts. Lost Hollow’s latest single – Buttermarket – currently riding high at #4 on the Hotdisc Chart, was composed by Sarge himself.
The song was inspired by his time living in Warrington, bringing together his love of place with his natural gift for songwriting.
To see it soar on the charts in the hands of an acclaimed Nashville act is not only a proud moment for Sarge – but also a testament to the musical creativity thriving right here in Warrington.
Speaking on MIX56, Sarge reflected on how the town continues to shape his music.
Fans can expect November’s show to be something special – an evening where local talent meets international stars – with Warrington firmly in the spotlight.
With Lost Hollow’s soaring harmonies, Sarge Pete Frampton’s heartfelt songs and a community eager to celebrate music, it promises to be a night to remember!
Listen again right here.
