Captain Rod has had a long career in aviation for more than 40 years including having command of the iconic Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet for British Airways.
Rod’s career has taken him long-haul to far flung exotic destinations – and dispite literally hundreds of take-offs and (successful) landings there’s only been the odd aborted take-off and just the one engine failure..
Though flying is one of the saftest ways to travel, many people suffer with Aerophobia – a fear of flying.
