Smithy went along to meet Millie and owner Leslie Greenhough to find out more.

Millie was originally adopted by Leslie’s late wife, Paula as a three-month-old kitten.

Leslie attributes her longevity to a diet of prawns, salmon, bottled water, and plenty of affection.

Although he hopes to have Millie recognised  by Guinness World Records, he lacks the documentation to verify her exact age.

Smithy meets Millie

Millie’s story is one of companionship and resilience, especially after the loss of her original owner.  You can listen again right here.
