Lymm Historic Transport Day takes place on  Sunday 22nd June

Over the years, Lymm Historic Transport Day has gained quite a following and now attracts exhibitors and visitors from all around the UK.

This year’s event takes place this coming Sunday (22nd June) on the May Queen Field and at venues across Lymm.  It promises to be bigger and better than ever!

The day starts with the much-loved procession of classic vehicles, bikes and steam engines through the village at 10.30am – with commentary from our very own Ian James.

Then it’s time to explore the various venues across the village offering everything from model railways to Lego displays.

The May Queen field will see a collection of more than 400 classic vehicles for you to admire – and offers an opportunity to chat with the proud owners.

In addition, a fabulous range of artisan stalls and food outlets will be available – along with live entertainment.

It really is the perfect day out – and amazing value too.

Wristbands (to access all areas) cost just £6 per adult, £3 per child – or a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) is only £15.

These can be purchased in advance from the box office at Lymm Village Hall in advance – or on the gate.

We were delighted to welcome organisers Jack and Mark to the Morning Show.  You can listen again right here.

See you in the village on Sunday!  You can find out more about the event at the official Lymm Historic Transport Day Website.
