You can listen again right here!
52nd Street was Billy Joel’s sixth album – originally released in 1978 includes the hits Honesty and My Life and is a firm favourite with Billy Joel fans around the world.
The album is also famous for being the first ever to be released on CD in the 1980’s.
Elio has thrilled audiences around the world for over thirty years with his soulful voice and amazing piano playing.
He’s worked with several big-name acts including Shakin’ Stevens, Huey Lewis and Albert Lee.
Elio was also Terry Wogan’s Musical Director on his live “Weekend Wogan” shows on BBC Radio 2.
In recent years, Elio has been the front man of a high-energy theatre show THE BILLY JOEL SONGBOOK® LIVE which celebrates the incredible music that Billy Joel has created over his long career.
The show, promoted by Phil McIntyre Live returns in 2024 with shows lined up in Germany and across the UK. You can find out more at the Elio Pace Website.
Alongside the THE BILLY JOEL SONGBOOK® LIVE tour, Elio has also been performing a series of special shows featuring two of Billy’s albums in their entirety at each show.
The final Albums Show tour is about to get underway – and will feature Billy’s very first album, Cold Spring Harbor and his last, River of Dreams.
On completion of the tour, Elio will be the first artist anywhere in the world to have performed all of Billy Joel’s 12 albums live on stage!
The final tour also includes a very special treat for true Billy Joel fans – as joining Elio live on stage will be Rhys Clark and Don Evans – both from Billy Joel’s original band and who played on the 1971 Cold Spring Harbor release.
