My Life at Granada TV: Judy Popley

The first meeting of the new programme takes place on Monday 14th September 2026 at Lymm Village Hall, Pepper Street at 8pm with Judy Popley talking about her life at Granada TV.

Judy joined Granada in 1974 – perhaps at its heyday, with huge dramas being produced such as Brideshead Revisited, The Jewel in the Crown and of course, Coronation Street.

This talk includes funny, sad and evocative memories of her time there.

All are welcome (visitors £5 on the door). Join the society for £20 for the year on the night.
