A fantastic apprentice has been named one of the best in the north west, TEDx is coming – and Christmas has arrived at Bents Garden Centre!

It’s a Thursday and the latest Knutsford and Warrington Guardians have hit the news stands.  Smithy caught up with Deputy Editor, Gareth Dunning to find out what’s in this week’s paper.

Congratulations to Kat – a United Utilities apprentice from Lymm who’s been Highly Commended in this year’s North West final for the National Apprenticeship Awards.

United Utilities is one of the largest employers in Warrington and is currently offering a number of opportunities for graduates.  You can find out more in this week’s Guardian and on our website here

TEDx Returns to Warrington

TEDx will take place at Daresbury Park on Thursday 16th November and the them this year is  ‘Tackling Adversity, Embracing Change’.

Speakers will be carefully selected to showcase Warrington’s diverse, innovative minds and strength of spirit.

Christmas has arrived at Bents!

You know that Christmas is just around the corner when Bents launch their festive displays!

Now that Christmas at Bents is open there is a full calendar of festive events planned at the Centre, starting with Father Christmas’ arrival parade on Saturday, November 9 at 4pm.
