It’s Thursday and the new Warrington / Knutsford Guardain is out so Smithy caught up with Deputy Editor, Gareth Dunning to find out what’s in the paper.

This week it’s a bumper edition containing many pictures of your Coronation celebrations.

Lymm Rocks

Even Lymm Rocks gets a mention – with a special display containing around 500 hand-painted rocks arranged in the shape of St Edward’s Crown.

The display has now been dismantled, but the rocks are now hidden around the area for you to find and keep – or to re-hide.  You can find out more at the Lymm Rocks Facebook page.

Braydon Dent

In other news, former Oughtrington Primary School pupil, Braydon Dent – now aged 14 – could be the next Huw Edwards!

Braydon has managed to get himself a regular slot on the Sky News channel – and now travels to London each week to contribute to the FYI slot which is aimed at kids.

Congratulations Braydon!

As the warmer weather approaches, so are a number of events locally – including Lymm May Queen and Royal May Queen in Knutsford this weekend – and Warrington Walking Day on 1st July.

You can keep up to date on these events in the paper and online at the Guardian website.
