UK country music star Rob Wheeler brought his trademark warmth and energy to Ian’s Morning Show on MIX56 this morning – fresh from an incredible few months on the road.

Rob’s latest album has been a huge success, racing straight to number one on the UK country chart and winning over fans with its heartfelt songs and uplifting spirit.

Alongside his acclaimed backing band The Hushtones, Rob has been travelling up and down the country on a packed tour schedule, filling venues and proving why he’s one of the most exciting names on the UK country scene right now.

Rob also gave us a sneak preview of his brand new single Goodbye Summer which is officially released this Friday.

We’ve made it our Record of the Week here at MIX56 – the perfect soundtrack as the seasons change, full of Rob’s signature storytelling style and melodic hooks.
