From reaching the final of Bob Says Opportunity Knocks to working alongside Sir Terry Wogan – Elio Pace is currently on tour showcasing his own music

Over the years, Elio Pace has worked with some of the biggest names in showbusiness.  He’s also been quietly busy in the background composing his own music.

His iconic debut album A Seat at My Table has long been revered and loved by music critics and by his growing army of fans – but over the last eleven years, his own work has taken a back seat due to the phenomenal success of his  stage show production of The Billy Joel Songbook.

The Billy Joel Songbook has been an incredible success for Elio – and now plays to packed out audiences around the world.

But ahead of a busy tour schedule planned in 2025, the time was right for Elio to showcase his own incredible catalogue of music with My Songbook, My Life – a mini-tour which concludes with two sold-out dates (Alnwick in Northumberland and Kendal in Cumbria) towards the end of this week.

In this special live programme, Elio joins Ian James for an hour of music and conversation – and chooses some of his favourite songs.

You can listen again right here.
