Astrid Erver

Hi, I’m Astrid Erver from Ervy’s Rock Box which goes out every Thursday at 8pm.

I was born and raised in East Germany, experienced all the excitement (good and bad) of the fall of the wall.

Having started school in one system, and finished in a completely different one, I became a travel agent in 1999 and travelled the world.

I have been working in the travel industry ever since. In 2019 I moved to the UK.

When the pandemic hit, and the travel industry struggled I started to work in radio enjoying my other passion – the passion for Rock music.

I am happy that Cheshire’s Mix 56 is home of my Rock box – full of brilliant rock, classics and surprises as I love to introduce you to new artists, music you might have never heard before!
