MIX 56 (HD) CHESHIRE'S BEST MUSIC MIX
today Monday 24 Junemy_locationUnited Reformed Church
After his triumphant ‘Great Expectations’ at last year’s Festival, we just had to invite Gerald Dickens back!
This time he brings us his remarkable Nicholas Nickleby show, inspired by the RSC’s 8-hour production. But fear not, Gerald’s version of his great great grandfather’s masterpiece packs the plot and a multitude of vivid characters into just one hour!
The audience will travel with Nicholas across the country, meeting some of Charles Dickens’s greatest characters: Wackford Squeers, Smike, Vincent Crummles, Newman Noggs and Sir Mulberry Hawk, to name just a few.
The novel ‘Nicholas Nickleby‘ shows Charles Dickens off to his theatrical best, and Gerald’s performance demonstrates his amazing versatility and acting ability to bring this great classic work to life.
If you saw last year’s performance, you won’t need telling that this is a ‘must see’ show!
Tickets: £15
Refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes) will be available to purchase from Sanctuary Cafe.
