One of the most anticipated events this year was the return of Vaudeville Night at Lymm Rugby Club’s fantastic marquee.
Themed as A Night At The Movies, the show was performed by the incredibly talented panto team including much-loved cast members Sara Worton, Lizzie Roberts, Adam Halford, Paul Rigby and Brian Hope.
Show producer, Simon Plumb included his hilarious ventriloquist sketch with the aid of Adam and new cast member Ben – this time with a twist. Ben later delivered a standout vocal performance in his own right.
Smithy caught up with Simon back stage, just before curtain up:

Along with cast regulars, it was a treat to see the welcome return of two panto veterans – Rod and Jan Halloran. We caught up with daughter and choreographer, Alicia just before curtain-up:

It was the most incredible night! The performers gave it thier all and entertained the audience for two hours of non-stop fun and frolics.
It was evident that a lot of hard graft and time was spent putting the show together – so a sincere thank you to all involved.
The spirit of Vaudeville will return to the club for the famous Lymm Panto later this year – in the meantime, please do support the social and sporting events at Lymm Rugby Club.
By supporting the club’s social events each year – you are directly supporting the Lymm Rugby Club team, on and off the pitch.
An unmissable evening, thank you so much to all involved! Six stars!
Events at Lymm Rugby Club’s Summer Marquee continue until the end of June. Find out more and book tickets online at Lymm Rugby Club.
