Live Session: The Uptown Monotones

Austria’s Beat Box sensations The Uptown Monotones  are back in the UK

Ahead of a special appearance at District in Liverpool – and a headline performance at the Lancaster Music Festival 2024 on Friday – Heli, Vern and Ivory called in on Smithy’s breakfast show and treated us to an impromptu live set.

The Uptown Monotones formed in 1993 and have been taking audiences by surprise all over the world with their unique beat box sound.

They now have a growing fan-base in the UK too with over 8.5K followers on Facebook alone.
